Let the discussion begin...

Looks pretty good to me.

Uses standard freehub, has almost the range of XX1, but misses on the "Fast" side with 11 teeth vs the Sram 10.

Really?
Is there that much difference between 10T and 11T to justify a new freehub setup?

Sounds to me like the industry is trying to sell us "upgrades" to keep the money train intact. :?

What I read someplace (not sure validity of the facts) is that Sram originally made the new hub design to fit a 9 tooth, but stuck with the 10 for production.

I'm sure there's more behind that.

But for those that want 1x11 with the same range, you can look forward to XT and I'd guess SLX sometime next year.

In other related news, Wolf tooth is selling a 42 tooth replacement ring for XX1 cassettes and one up is making a 44 tooth ring. But initial reviews say the chain is hesitant to drop off the 44 when shifting back down the cassette.

I am super happy with my OneUp 42T mated with mid cage SRAM X9 rear derailleur.

Sunrace is now making wide-range 10 & 11 speed cassettes, probably on the lower end price and quality wise. More choices is good.
