Greetings 'treaders! My name is Gary and I have been mountain biking since before there were mountain bikes. Really. My dad, mom, friends and I would ride our 10 speeds on any dirt trail we could find back in the day. Got my first mountain bike ('84 StumpJumper Sport) and rode it until the frame broke about 7 years later. I've ridden extensively around the San Diego area all my life (I'm 58 currently) along with NorCal, WA, OR, AZ, ID, and NM. I spent more than 10 years as Captain of a tandem couple (most recently riding a fully suspended Ventana El Conquistador de Montañas) and traveled to Scotland and Morocco for off road tours. I'm currently living in Oceanside and starting to ride Calavera and La Costa areas. I'm free most Weekend mornings and like to ride early as I have an aversion to hot weather. Trying to get back into riding shape after a reasonably long "distraction" (read as "divorce") and would welcome any and all invitations to ride. Not saying I can accept any and all but who can? If anyone out there is interested in a really well set up full suspension tandem (or want to try to throw a leg over the stoker seat) let me know.
