Post subject:  Time to Pay the Bills
It's time again to pay for the reasonably priced hosting for dirttreaders.com. The bill is $83.40, and unfortunately, the donation thing I used to use shut down.

What you get is another year of treader reports, rides with friends, a marketplace, mud slinging, and a place to shoot the shit. Proceeds go first to paying the bill. Leftovers will be used to buy supplies for the Debauchery.

Just tried it twice with a credit card and it didn't work. Logged into paypal and it went through

Brian, i wasnt able to contribute very much since this year has been tough on me...but i hope it helps get it a little closer to goal.

on a side note, please tell me that DT doesnt have 'teaparty', 'patriot', or any other similar form of designation on the legal paperwork....i'd hate to be audited by the IRS for my contribution.

i wanted to take this opportunity to point out that it is really impressive how you run this place;
you choose not to identify the people who contribute nor the people who dont contribute (financially). whether its five people who make it possible to meet the bills, or 50...you simply say "bills are met, move along people".
i've been part of other sites where you are placed on a list and a big deal is made if you dont contribute financially...and while i have no problem with it whatsoever, sometimes others cant afford to help out or choose not to for other reasons...and i can only imagine that their name on the list is nothing more than a small sting to them, but its a sting nonetheless.


Brian, to me its the little things in life (like this) that really matter...and you (and RHS) run this site better than anyone could ever ask for...just my .02

Oh yeah, and I agree with all your comments to Brian in the post immediately preceding. I like the Dood's management. Or lack of it.
