Planning to check out Hosp Grove Park in Carlsbad Sunday 8/6 at 8am. Parking is off Jefferson, near Marron/Jefferson corner. There isn't much trail here, but it should all be shaded and hopefully a cool breeze since it's next to the lagoon. Can do multiple loops, it's all LEGAL trail, so maybe putting extra usage on legal systems will gain more attention from the city. Overall, not sure how it will be, this is purely exploration to see about adding an alternate riding location with full shade!! |

used to ride from the beach over to there 20 years ago from time to time. You're correct; not much trail there. |
