Thanks for the TR. Must go back soon.... Highline is on my list now. Did you do Teakettle or Deadman's Gulch? There are some "energy" circles in that area |

I was just up there and left on Sunday. Got in a great couple days of riding Sed and one day in Flag (always fun.) We rode just below the HighLine on Saturday on a trail called "Made in the Shade" then split off to "Slim Shady." (We were lookign to do Highline but missed it and turn down into the gully.) Anyhow, the 'Shady' routes were EPIC - super fun, flowy and the best downhill rhythm section I got the whole time in Sed. "Pigtail" was another great score; you can split off that into Hogwash or continue straight for some great medium sized booters. Only sucky route was Airport Mesa. Cozmik Ray was definitely high on banana peels when he decided to put that dangerous pile in a MTB guide to be used by out-of-towners (IMO) After that experience I found myself questioning a lot of his recommendations but thats just my 2cents - YMMV |
