Search for a trail you would like to ride in the Tucson area and I will try it.
I found an interesting area south of Tucson. It’s a Titan missile Museum next to some Green Valley trails free camping across the freeway at a casino I think I’ll try that first. You do need to sign up for a free permit to ride the area but you can do it online.

If it's Fantasy Island, by all means, do it.

In Tucson right now!

50 Year
Honeybee trails in Oro Valley (see trailforks)
24 Hour old Pueblo course
Sweetwater trails
Fantasy Island
AZT south of Tucson
Sopori trails south on hwy 83 (trailforks)

For 50 yr, fantasy Island, honeybee you need a $15 state land trust permit

Thank you guys for the time to research.
I had more of you pick a trail you would love to ride and I would try it for you.
After the green Valley trails I might try fantasy inland for Ray. They have in the past complained about car break ins there but I do have a more stealth vehicle. Then the golder ranch area cuz you can camp on the trail and I can do the honey bee stuff from there. I can’t find the sopori trail south off hwy 83. So I guess that should be a good place to look for I will ask about it at a local bike shop.
Then on my way home I will do some AZ trail up by gold mine and tie them together cuz parking is bad so I can ride into the area.

Hey Tom, sorry the Sopori trails are off I-19 not Hwy 83. Lots of stuff out there that is not on the map. These are fun trails.

Thanks evdog. That’s pretty far south with a little elevation gain so temps might drop a few degrees but I will check it out.

T, Fantasy Island has very little climbing, but the trails layout there reminded me strongly of a Sonoran desert version of our old Flightline. On that postage size parcel of land, I put in a twenty mile ride on my single speed, and was not really tired out at all. Just a lotta fun and trail-art. Very positive vibe, but then again this was over a decade ago that I was regularly tripping to Tucson.
