"Dear SDMBA Member: We wanted you to be the first to know that after lengthy and careful consideration, the Board of Directors of the San Diego Mountain Biking Association has voted unanimously to discontinue its chapter status with the International Mountain Biking Association, effective April 29, 2018." I can now renew my membership. Thank you SDMBA for staying on course. |

SDMBA is still bound by a 30 escape clause that prohibits the funding directly until it expires. Just hold off for now. There will be a formal way to make payments 100% DIRECTLY to SDMBA in a short time. If you are/were a member of SDMBA/IMBA, you may still receive announcements from IMBA. Please note that any money given to them will not be shared with SDMBA. There is nothing wrong with supporting multiple causes, but you just need to know IMBA money goes to IMBA and SDMBA money goes to San Diego projects and advocacy. |
