Of the three, the mountain bikers are the most vocal, demanding that all trails both legal and illegal be kept open and open to all users (i.e. themselves).

Lets not forget the migrants who lived down there, I'm sure they cut a trail or two before a MTB ever went down there on the trails the migrants made.

It's a hard to tell if Mr.Gerst is for or against MTB, as he has been active on keeping LPQ open for some time, from what I read.

It's not MTB making the trails, they were already there for sometime.

I have a buddy in my 'hood that's been riding there for like 15 years. He said they called it the migrant trail because that was who built it.

Luna, thanks for the migrant camp links -- I remember when they were all evicted. Now we ride bikes for recreation where they lived just to survive, and rode bikes for transportation. Now we will be evicted as well if we can't muster enough support either.

See you at the meeting.

Yep I'm emailing all my MTB buddys tomorrow as most don't go on forums & try to rally some more troops.

Just talked to Quietriot. Both of us are going to be there. I'm actually going to sport a suit to show that we are still classy though we like to get dirty. My helmet will also be with me.

Zippy sez: "Please set-up the Preserve as multi-use. Identify, isolate and protect the sensitive habitats with fences and trail re-routes, but please allow people to continue enjoying this unique area."
