My friend tipped over while riding the skinny over the water. He got all wet. Someone should really put wider bridges in. I saw a few others struggling to get over it as well.

I fell off the bridge at Wagon Wheel in PQ when I first got my Trance a few years ago. My bike stayed on the bridge though

Yeah, that's odd, I did not even notice how many people were there or who they were. There is nearly always someone taking a break in the shade. I crossed right after Big Clyde. I could tell at a glance that everyone was standing enough out of the way, so I just kept momentum and focused on my line over the bridge and up past those small rocks. "Look where you want to go". Between that and the fact I badly need new prescription glasses for riding, I didn't even see the SDMBA group. As for the width, that's what it's always been. Some bridges you ride, some you walk. It's up to you.
