So I crashed going down powerlines...I know, so lame. I screwed up my wrist again but I don't think it's broken. Anybody use wrist guards? Or am I overreacting and just shut up... |

Sorry about the crash and injury. At CVS or Riteaid you can get a reusable wrist wrap to help with recovery, will give you a little support but remain flexible and you can still wear gloves. The wrap has a hole in it for your thumb and that is the anchor to keep the wrap in place. Ice to reduce swelling and Motrin as an anti inflamatory. Not sure about a device to prevent that injury. |

Soooo tempting to add to this carbon related post...I'll pass but props on the DWill/carbon joke. Nice, Brian...very nice. Heal up brother. |

I used a 661 wrist wrap when I started riding again after my schaphoid crumbled a couple years back, provided decent support and not very much $$. Actually probably still have it kicking around (left hand) if you want it although that may be sorta like sticking your hands into some other dudes sweaty used gloves lol |

After I broke my wrist in 2006 I rode with a skateboard wrist protector for a couple years. it worked pretty well. It had a metal insert that went over the lower part of the hand over the wrist. It was my left hand. Probably also still have it somewhere (we are int e middle of moving right now) but if you want it brian can dig it out for you. |

I've gone through a broken wrist. the wrist support from Troy-Lee designs worked great for me and very affordable. attached is the link for your right hand. https://www.troyleedesigns.com/product. ... 5&id=15586 |
