Another aspect sorely missing here on DT are the ride reports WITH PICTURES!!
Seriously, stop sometimes and smell the roses.
I for one don't like to stop the flow but when the opportunity presents itself (like towing my wife and similar level friends on rides), I turn off all my switches and get to appreciate the ride in a different and pleasant manner. I also get playful like when I follow Fred.
Anyway, I took my new Specialized Levo Turbo pedal-assist bike (not an e-Bike) and my wife on her traditional bike to SW Ridge trails just outside of North Las Vegas on Black Friday. We skipped bootleg canyon because scenery there is like staring at a brown drywall for hours.
The Strip is best viewed from here....far far away.

I'm such a dick. Instead of just sugar coating it and say, sweet railing that corner, sweetie.
I just had to point out that inside foot up and hip rotated towards the turn.
I could circle around Ike's Peak and Legalize It loop over and over just for the views and shit to play around and launch off of. So fun.
I have this feeling my wife didn't care much for the dozens and dozens of ledges (both up and down), razor sharp rocks and insane exposure at some sections but if she ever had complaints, they would have fallen on deaf ears that day. LOL! I was having too much fun.
My favorite trail name of 2016 and such a killer fun mini-loop.
My wife tapped out at mile 13 but I wanted more so I switched the pedal assist bike with my now almost boring classic mountain bike just so I could burn more of the sweet rice cakes and lechon I ate the night before. Fucking uphills. Hahahaha
Viva Las Vegas indeed.
Sigh.. back to normal boring advocated trails in San Diego County. sigh...
