Made it over to the westside this morning. I thought I saw some guy drinking cold ones with his trusty guard mutt down near these shacks.. |

^^^^Those shacks are a blight on otherwise perfect trail territory! (Although I wouldn't turn one down) |

Saw A Street there last Sunday too. He looked too serious to approach and I was playing catch up with my local buds. Been splitting time here too (because of the sometimes nasty rush hour traffic) Let's go!! (ps. It's a Fred-friendly loop.) |

Ahh - a cool morning, lots of sunshine and quiet trails. A small offering of water and sweat on this rock altar to appease the trail gods, then it's off to the berms and jumps! Whoop! |

Unnecessary joint pain from the rigid bike. So good. |

Once I saw your signature red helmet then I was sure. Did you run one of your buds off the side of the trail? That's what it looked like to me from the top of double D! |

Even if either one of us did, none of us would remember or would admit to it. It's all fun and games until someone's carbon rim gets gouged. Aaron Gwinn got lucky yesterday. I left my fork lockout on. I have to admit, after all these years Belizean has been preaching, he maybe up to something with this wagonwheel fad of his. The last two rides on this jackhammer, I've knocked down 4-5 minutes of my normal climb times (offsetting the descend times of course). Must be the 29" wheels (single ply tires plus 10 lbs lighter and full time lock out mode). So good for the rigid soul. |
