Here's a pretty amazing story on Pinkbike about a rider who was attacked by a bear and managed to somehow live by stabbing it with a pocket knife. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/mountain- ... knife.html As per usual with PB, it's "come for the article, stay for the comments", some of which are pretty hilarious. This is my favorite exchange: Comment: “...and alerted the second officer who then destroyed the bear.” What does “destroyed” exactly means? Response: "Bear was made to ride 71 degree HTA hardtail with 9mm QR fork down the hill." |
