I hesitate to post this because I have not been there myself to verify this but my buddy (and a Carlsbad police officer) said there is a NEW sign over by where we come out on the SOUTH side of CHER next to the farm fields/land. He said he didn't take any chances because he had previously seen the gate left open by Sage Creek HS so he walked his bike down towards Cannon and a CDFW truck was backed into the trees right there.

Anyway, I know a bunch of people actually start their ride at Cannon to head up next to the farms so at least LOOK for new signage so you don't get zapped. I personally won't get out there until next week but once I do, I'll try and very the signage and where it's posted.

There are 2 of the very large white CHER signs over there. One is right where one would normally head east into the property from the community gardens, the other is just past the eucalyptus grove as you head up the single track to the east.

The rangers have been parking either behind the bushes right be the Faculty parking lot of the High School or they have been hiding in the eucalyptus grove.

On the facebook group a guy said he saw another rider getting a ticket in the grove.

I like the idea of going completely around the garden entrance by heading into the mobile home park, is the trail into Cantarini Ranch easy to spot?
