It turns out that the Trailforks app (which most of us use to find trails to ride) also has a feature which can help you get rescued if you get yourself injured on a ride. Here’s the story: https://www.pinkbike.com/news/trailfork ... on-bc.html Basically, open the app and open the menu by pressing on the icon with three horizontal lines in the upper left. At the bottom there is a big red button labeled “Emergency Info”. Pushing it will pull up your GPS coordinates, find the nearest trail, and give you the options to share your location and/or call 911. |

so if the icon is green and yellow i just downloaded the app. i need to get myself a decent small first aid kit for my pack |

i find it better to make up my own first aid kit. Everything's useable. |
