This covers so many things.. it's a Treader report, road trippin report, and other Misc stuff, so I'm putting it here. Recently went on a 2 week trip to Monterey, specifically Laguna Seca for the Vintage Reunion event where some of the most expensive race cars in the world come to play. While there, I did some biking on some of the Sea Otter cross country course, then I instructed people in their cars, then got to drive my car. On my way home I stopped in SLO and got a ride in with Don. Here are some pictures and videos. Car loaded up and ready. A stop at Hearst Castle on the way. Wife getting organized after we arrived. Yes we camped, she for 3 nights, me for 10. View from the site. Very foggy racetrack in the morning. First breakfast didn't suck!!!!! Rediculously perfect Ferrari And Another Some BMW's it was the featured marque as they are celebrating 100 years. Couple REALLY FAST CARS Now for some Ride pictures. Poison Oak lurked everywhere just off the edge of the trail in the treed areas. I got a small spot. This was a legit trail closure. This was rest point and Y in the trail that kept going, so no complaints about not being able to go this way. The other leg of the trail lead to here. Took Phil with me on the 2nd two days of riding, yes, that's a big hill he's hiking up. I cleared it on day 2 and 3. The bikes needed to rest. Rare Photo Op, another instructor and I were tasked with placing corner marking cones, so we took this photo of him and his car at the top of the infamous Laguna Seca Corkscrew. Out riding with Don. Yes, straight up for 3 miles, then back down.. And now, me getting to play on the track. |

Cool report and very cool trip. Such a fun racetrack too. Also, funny, you call him "Phil" instead of "Dad". |
