Think the felled trees are a trap?? Cut them down, later find them used by Mtn Bikers in trail features? Scream Foul and shut it all down??

I like the way you think, young man! (Puffs cigar.)

I might occasionally be a bit of a conspiracy theorist at times.

Just because you're paranoid does not mean they still aren't out to get you.

The SDMBA meeting tonight was interesting and encouraging. Ben Stone and Susie Murphy are well-spoken representatives who have had discussions with CDFW. Richard Duquette said enforcement is on the books. However, no real parameters of what to realistically avoid riding now, or what may be permitted in the future were available. The only clear message was to stop building. Please contact SDMBA if you have questions. I was told there was discussion of a trail committee in the beginning of the meeting. I came in 20 minutes late so I missed the beginning.

I was there as well. Interesting things... some good, some bad. I think overall it's was net positive.

Ben Stone legitimately impressed me, he was incredibly knowledgeable and seems to have a possative and realistic outlook on what is possible.

We will loose trails though, #RIP

I agree with Mike, it was a good meeting.
I was impressed with SDMBA and the way they handled the meeting.
If everything they say is true, it's going to be a big fight
to keep the trails we love.

On a sidenote, Matthew needs to be president of Calaveras.
