I don't care what side of the 26 vs 29er debate you fall on - this thing looks like it could be a rocket. http://reviews.mtbr.com/santa-cruz-superlight29-full-suspension-29er  Gotta love that burnt orange paint job. That easily adds another 3-4mph to the top speed. |

But as much as I like a light and fast hardtail, my aging back doesn't anymore. Also there's no need to sweat the single pivot design on a XC bike like this. Santa Cruz has really perfected it. It's light, simple and easy to maintain, so it's a good trade off. It also keeps the price reasonable. |

I just ordered my SCSL 29 Frame  It's supposed to fit a short person like me better than my Evolve
