If it was anywhere but Walmart i'd buy one myself. I just want a second beater bike that I can lock up for as long as I want and not worry so much that someone is going to steal it. Buuut I will never patronize that place after hearing about all their shady business tactics. Is there anywhere else I can get a coparable ss for $150. At least its Mongoose not a Magna or Next. |

OK RoyR I am not fan of the fixed grear riding hipsters or walmart either but seriously anyone out on two wheels has at least one good quality in my book. Walmart also carries MTB's as well so maybe you should stop riding them as well. Finally hipsters ride fixed gear bikes not single speeds. I know you were just joking but if you are going to burn someone do it right, if you have any question on how to do please reference this post. Sorry I am just feeling ornery today.

perfect little around town beater! The first review says it all Price: Nothing is this cheap, sure you can spend a little more on something else, but I genuinely don't want something nicer, I wanted a bike to throw around scratch up, crash, and eventually have someone steal it, and for this price it was exactly what I was looking for. |

Ah no rant just feeling a bit annoying, tried to poke the virtual hornets nest, I don't know why, I love this place, and hate it when people stir up trouble. He called it a SS in his posting title, and tried to make the point that if wallmart sells it it is not cool... it was the errors and flawed logic that got me, even though I am full of errors and flawed logic as we all are. I need practice at instigating, any pointers would be appreciated. |

to fourflys: walmart makes companies drop their prices or they wont carry it. said company drops it but walmart asks to drop it more. they force this said company to keep dropping it until its just barley worth it for them. some eat the cost thinking just being im walmart will help them grow. another thing wally does wrng is not pay people right away. they keep stalling and stalling demanding more than net 90. thenthe little guy has to go out of buisiness since they still havent been paid for their huge order. then wally says hold on, WE will save you...by buying you!  trust me, walmart evil. F walmart and F this cheap POS bike you should be ashamed of yourself for even considering a "walmart" bike (or anything made by Pacific). sure it looks like a killer deal, nice and new, shiney with the trendy single speed......once you buy a cheap chinese bike made in sub-standard form with crap components (1 month life span), you will be done, next you will lower your standards (and trust your life) to all kinds of chinese junk (chinese dont even buy the crap they send here) you should all do yourselves a favor, find a good vintage (90's) MTB and do the $30 SS conversion. Vintage is cool and keeps alive the roots of MTBing F walmart F target F performance F all the crushers of our great nation |
