If you got this far, I also have some BRAND NEW KMC 10 SPEED "Speedlink" CHAIN LINKS for anybody that wants to drive up here for something so small. I have (2) sets of two and a single SRAM link. [GONE]

No problem, the shoes are yours now. I got two links from him - I'll toss one in a shoe for you (keeping one, my grandson's bike is 10spd).
