I lose about 3-4 psi during the week, but I don't mind pumping a little more in for the weekend. I always checked before weekend rides with tubes too, but they usually needed none or just a couple psi. If you're losing significant air, like over the course of a ride, I think it makes sense to add & reseal. |

The ole homebrew worked great again this past weekend, Stuff is sealing up, like old Stan's stuff used too. Now will just have to see how long it last in the tire & also before its a booger in there. |

Ok Stans experts, WTF am I doing wrong??? Setup is Mavic Crossmax SX UST rims w/ Michelin UST tires w/ 4 oz of Stans seated w/ my air compressor (not CO2) at the beginning of Feb. I didn't expect to see this crap when I dismounted the tire last night. Has Stans changed their formula w/ new bottles? |

Well its probably seen a range of 40-90 degrees since done. Longest stretch that it hasn't been ridden is probably 3 weeks in the last 2 months since done. |

I swear the new Stan's is different. Darryl couldn't get his stuff to seal if he got a puncture on the trail & I thought he was just having bad luck.I didn't believe him, when he sweared Stan's wasn't the same anymore. I got some new Stan's a few months ago & it too didn't seal any punctures on the trails either. Punctures were tiny also. Has it changed, I don't know, I do know that recent purchases from Darryl & I of Stan's didn't seal punctures out on the trail. Jose I live in the Southbay, do you really think anyone cares. It says Mofle's Shop in front of my house anyways. Seriously the Homebrew gets one Thumbs up so far for how well it's been doing. Once I have long term with it I will give it either a double thumbs up or bust. For now it's working outstanding. |

I soaped the tire and found some small leaks. Opened the bead and no more Stans liquid. Added some more Stans and did the whole shakey thing. Let it set applied some more shakey and let it set on the other side. Checked again with soapy water, no bubbles. Now two days later the tire is almost flat again. Maybe I didn't add enough Stans. I added 2 ounces. Just gonna add some more and see. |

Also, if you use larger volume tire, it's good to put more in every 3 months or so. |

Here is my homebrew sealing the tire. Looks like I ran over dog shiat. She seals though. |
