Finally an honest product review, but with the way the product failed more than once during their testing, they really had no other choice.

I cracked both my ENVE wheels within 8 days of each other coming down that little downhill on the East side of the dam at Calavera. ENVE refused to honor their warranty.

It seems to me the owners response wasnt how to improve the wheel but to place the blame solely on QC and rationalizing failures and costs as apposed to actually stating they would investigate the build process to determine reasons for failure...
Too insincere about how $3k wheelsets are failing, not-cool.
Sorry to hear about them not covering your wheels under warranty, did they specify a reason for the denial?

The serial numbers used to be stamped/printed on the rim but I bought my bike completely built up (obviously set up tubeless) and they said I was expected to break down my wheels to locate the serial number to register the wheels. I was clueless about that requirement and dumbfounded they expected the consumer to do that. Bottom line is, I will not buy ENVE's again and don't really need to when there are so many brands for 50% of what ENVE charges.

That is so shitty - both from a standpoint of quality, and one of support. Glad the word is getting out.

My China Carbon wheels have held up on my Full Rigid. Not sure why you would spend $3K on inferior wheels.

Just throwing it out there: E13 has lifetime warranty to original purchaser.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
e*thirteen carbon rims are warrantied to the original purchaser for the lifetime of the product. This warranty is valid for TRS Race or LG1 Race carbon rims on complete e*thirteen wheels, or rims built on non-e*thirteen hubs. All warranties require proof of purchase.

Rims on complete e*thirteen wheels

Under 1 year old: When a rim failure occurs, the original purchaser will be sent a complete replacement wheel and call tag to return the wheel with the failed rim to e*thirteen or its appropriate distributor.

Over 1 year old: When a rim failure occurs, the original purchaser will be sent a replacement rim and call tag to return the failed rim to e*thirteen or its distributor. The cost of the rebuild is the responsibility of the rider.

e*thirteen carbon rims built on non-e*thirteen hubs:

When a rim failure occurs, the original purchaser will be sent a replacement rim and call tag to return the failed rim to e*thirteen or its appropriate distributor. The cost of the wheel rebuild is the responsibility of the rider.

No questions asked. :)
