Has anyone tried running 9spd chain rings with 10 spd chain?
I don't like the sizing of the current 10 spd offerings at the moment and would like to exhaust my vast 9spd spare rings as well.

From what I've read it should work, but I haven't tried it (yet) myself.

When I built my nomad last year, Shimano said not a problem.
I've had no problems running a 36 tooth.

I've put in about 1200 miles with a 9spd 36/24 front and a ten speed cassette with no problems.
