welcome.

for butt relief i'll have to agree with the chainlove.com suggestion, as well as performance or rei if you just want to get a pair of lycra cycling shorts to put under regular shorts. dickies shorts are tough as nails and can be had at walmart for cheap. won't be as comfy for longer rides as dedicated bike shorts, but work just fine. for hot summer days swim trunks over the lycra work too.

hope to see you around.

yea im still back and forth on getting the tight shorts to wear under other shorts or just a dedicated pair of shorts with padding. either way ill figure it out since i own no shorts except for the ones i wear to bed and my swimming trunks that have the uncomfy net liner.

i was told a good place to do my first meet would be at lake hodges since im essentially a brand new rider(granted ive been riding every day since saturday) and it apparently is a good place to do a test on myself. however im limited to the santee area since i cant legally drive at the moment.

Just don't wear a speedo over cut-down lycra like jSatch does -- that's his signature look.

You're ass still hurting? I found that the bontrager saddles which are mostly flat hurts my ass. Get yourself a WTB sadle that normally has a center channel that makes riding more comfortable. Maybe you have a slightly longer tail bone too. Btw, welcome

That's great then. Anytime I am on a saddle that is flat, I'm doomed :( So I always buy a saddle with a channel or groove on them now. Hope to see you out on the trails.

Btw, we just rode sycamore yesterday. Next time we ride Sycamore, maybe i can come and get ya or meet up at the Mast trailhead.

Leo, some of us North County riders were saying today that we've been enjoying your posts. Maybe you can convince one of your new Santee riding buddies to drag your ass up here for a group ride. A few of us would appreciate having another slow guy along...especially one with a good sense of humor.
