I recommend TheChainRing as well!

Ben is a super cool guy and I love that he can pick up and deliver, but I usually drop-off when I ride La Costa and he drops it off wherever I like. Turnaround time is pretty good to.

The bike always feels brand new when I get it back and I always get nice comments on the forum after a ride on my "new" bike. I swear he has magical powers to make me look good.

Support TheChainRing! :hello:

Agreed on all of the above. I love the fact that he'll pick up and drop off at my office, and the work Ben does is top notch. Highly recommended.

For those who have the mindset of supporting their local businesses, the ChainRing is a good one to add to your list. Great example of local entrepreneur doing great work.

Oh, and after beating my bike to death over the last week in Oregon, Ben, you'll be hearing from me soon.

I've known Ben for 3 years, and I've never seen his bike dirty. It isn't because he doesn't ride - there is a saying that mechanics have: "Clean cars always run better." Well, in this case, clean bikes always run better. Clean cars and bikes are cared for, and less likely to be mistreated and unmaintained.

Ben is very meticulous and never stops short of perfection. He truly does treat each bike as if it were his own. I can't think of any other person I would want working on my two wheeled rides.

That's awfully gracious of you, considering that whole thing with him and your mom...

He promised I could keep calling her if I said something nice about his company.

Everyone, thank you so much for your compliments and words of encouragement. It means a lot to have the support of the community!

Here's a quick peek at an ongoing project I'm doing for a client. It's name is Mr.T and we're shooting for 26-27lbs!

On a side note... IFYM

Ben, does great work, I had a mis-hap on one of the Noble Cyn rides with my rear derailleur and he had me back on my bike within a few minutes of trail side service! He definitely knows what he's doing

Just wanted to post another big thumbs up for Ben at The ChainRing. I've been having some shifting problems that I couldn't figure out so I called Ben, and he came over to my house and picked up my bike to work on it while I was on vacation. Not only did Ben solve my shifting issues, but he went through the rest of the bike, tuned it up, and the bike was spotless when I picked it up. It's so nice to have a silent bike again.

Ben worked his magic to get the Stumpy ready for my trip. With the new drivetrain he put in place and the adjustments it rides like new again. I needed a bike that'd run w/o pit stops for 3 months and we are looking at a successful 1/2 of that already. Sweet! And thanks for the help putting it in that case!

Shoot, meant to post here a few days ago.

Ben set up my new to me Kona Coiler De-lux by swapping parts off of the Iron Horse. As always great work everything works flawlessly.

He'd been been tuning the Big Hit and Iron Horse (now no more) and will continue to be the goto' guy for the Big Hit and Kona now since he service is so good.
