Some of you know me as ChipsandSalsa on the other MTB sites. I am nicknaming myself G-Force, not because I am fast, but because I have had some high-speed over-the-bar action. Somehow I have managed to ride two years and develop little in the way of technical skills. So now I have toned it down and ride like an old man who has crappy medical insurance.

I like the vibe here, and the way you guys don't take yourselves or others too seriously.

Hey, Mark (OffRoadie): You are making good progress--I might have to come cheer you on in the B group. I still want to race at the track, but first I want to get faster.

RHS,
If you ride a black Heckler, I think I rode with you (and a bunch of others) at Daley about 9 months ago.

Baja,
Thanks, I rode down South when I first started, but I would like to do it again soon.

Yep, I ride a Salsa and a Santa Cruz. Thanks for the invite...I'll make it one of these days, but Saturdays I usually ride with a road club. How technical is La Costa on the downhills? I am not a big fan of drops and big rocks. I am more into XC.

Only tech section is on Nascar and it has options to bypass the drops.
The other trails are XC friendly.
