Oops. Mid ride I mashed on the pedal from a standing start, in a middle gear and Trail mode. I heard a loud ping and the chain fell off. The rest of the ride I made sure to start off gently in Eco and a lower gear. It’s possible that tooth might have hit a rock earlier in the ride — there were plenty of them! I’m ordering a steel chainring to replace it. BTW, the chainring is not badly worn — about 500 miles on it — but that is how SRAM shapes the teeth.
