here are some pics from a classic high alpine ride in the colorado backcountry. we topped out at 13,200 on the continetal divide trail. this was a point to point shuttle. after the high point, the descent was pretty fricken cool; initally loose, then became a rocky and rooty bombfest. ps. i was weak, i didn't replace my camera for this trip. i rode for just about a month, hit some epic rides in grand junction, winterpark, keystone, durango, telluride. durango has some great backcountry stuff, 4k descents on the colorado trail. http://picasaweb.google.com/mrbalkytoo/ContinentalDivideTrailJonesPassToHermanGulch# |
