Don't mean to beat a dead horse, but... I'll give you guys solid directions for La Costa if you don't know the area. Its really easy to get around.

Well..I picked up the bike from Bikebling...hmmm....how do I say this.....an UZZIDH FOR La Costa? Does this sound right? :?

Yes Ldood the 5.5 or 6.6ss are two of the most perfect bikes on the planet...I'm in the market for a new rig and I'm thinking the latter of the two would be quite awesome for NE style riding.

I'm sad to be riding such an old bike..I shoulda trucked it down to beyondbikes...I wanted to help a new local shop. He tried to sell me a Felt Redemption at $500 off and he'd ship it out to me. I was really hoping for a newer rig so I could compare it to what I already have. :crying: :crying: :crying:

Have fun on the dinosaur...might be tough on the climbs, but oh well, it'll make your climbing prowess that much stronger.
I think Bike Bling is TOO NEW to be able to offer up a good selection of rentals. And if I recall, that intense is one of the shop guys bikes, maybe Kerri's. Props to you for being cool about it though.
I expect a full Treaders Report upon your return...

It is Kerry's bike. I'm gonna run flats(Only ride flats on my BMX) It's got a 38th up front(huff, puff, huff, puff) I always want to help the new, local shop. I love the old FSR Style Inteses but I was HOPING or ASSuming that it'd be something newer. Great shop though. They've got everything when it comes to gear. I was talking to a guy who helps him in the shop...works/rides for Atomlab and Mountin Cycle. His FUry was pretty sweet and I'd much rather have ridden that. BUT anyhow. I'm gonna enjoy the ride! I'll give you a report w pics when I get back to RI. Thurday I head back south to NorthPark and Friday I head home. So maybe EvilChocula and I can do a RI vs Socal ride report.
