Drumming up interest (or lack thereof) for Noble Canyon this Sunday 11/01. Meet at Lower Noble Canyon Trailhead at 8 AM.

This is not a shuttle. Plan is to climb up the fire road. e-Bikes, Amish bikes and unicycles are all welcome. Although I may be gasping on the way up trying to keep up with you battery bros.

You may want to get their earlier than 8. I got there around 730 last weekend and got the last spot in the parking lot, including people cramming themselves into every imaginable parkable spot.

It may be worth pointing out that last weekend was the first weekend the forest was opened up in a while. It had previously been closed as a result of fire danger. So it's probably reasonable to expect that it won't be as crowded this weekend, although getting their earlier as evdog suggested is always a good idea.

At the same time, a lot of people may not have been aware yet the forest had reopened.

People are still covid crazy.

I'd get there as early as possible.

Assuming anyone is interested. I prefer the company of others on longer rides. Maybe everyone on the board is aging out, or awaiting delivery of their e-stuff.

Haven’t been riding much, gonna be slow; but I’m in. Self propelled. Flexible on start time as my four legged alarm clock wakes up around 5:30.

Chicken or egg.... When this forum first started we'd have random new members show up on rides. Gotta post rides if you want people to show up.

Thanks for posting this ride avidtest. It’s been many years since I climbed that road, but I know it would not be a problem with my new eMTB. The idea of powering up the road and waiting at the top for you is pretty appealing, but on the other hand, getting up that early this Saturday is not. Hope you have a great ride, and that I’ll soon be hearing over a beer how much fun you had and what an old loser I am for not going.

Oh.... Well, I guess I’m in then.
