Damn, if it's another weekend, I'd be down for the stupidity of it all. It's been a long time since I bitched about that climb. Have fun fellas!

With all the bailing, the truck now has room for three. I'll check for new posts in the morning if you all want to carpool or not. 7:45 at the following location:

"we will want to take the 52 east to jump over to the 8 east. The Regents exit off the 52 is the first exit you come to off the 5 south. There is a park off the exit for Marion Bear."

Bucket list item complete? Yup!

Great ride today boys. Glad you all made it. Misery loves company!

Fewer miles than I expected though - only 19 or so according to our team navigator - Skylar. Elevation also less than I expected - 2900 ft and change. Whore was, well, Whore, but as always, worth the Extra Credit. By the end of the ride, I'd have sworn it was closer to 25 miles based on my condition... It started to get hurty and noodly at the end.

Feeling good now, and as long as I make it through the night without leg cramps, it'll be 100% success. Otherwise, only 99.99%....

Would I do it again? Yup!

Time for a weekend camp trip before it's too frigid.

A couple of questions for you:
How many miles and what time did it take to get up there?

Did you take the turn at the tree and hit champagne pass? Did that drop you at the hwy?

Well - it was just a touch over 19 miles in total, but I couldn't tell you if that was split equally between climb and descent. The total ride was 4'ish hours or so, maybe a bit more - maybe our navigator will chime in with more details.

Sorry, but I'm not 100% sure where Champagne Pass is. We (I) bailed on the idea of doing Indian Creek on the way up. We just climbed the paved fire road all the way up to Sunrise Hwy, and rode South on the road 3/4 mile or so till we arrived at the drop-in for Noble proper.
