Hi San Diego bikers,

I was an exchange students in San Diego in 2008. Back then did a lot of road cycling. Now I am back for only one week and would like to go out on a nice bike tour with good single trails.
Could anyone take me along this upcoming weekend? I am in good shape when it comes to going uphill and I am ok going downhill. Not the guy for big drops and big jumps though.

Can anyone recommend a place where I can rent a full suspension mtb? Or even better: supply a bike for me if I give you a few dollars or pay the lunch plus drinks (in case you have a second bike sitting around at home).

I am currently traveling with my wife and 9-months-old daughter and would be very happy to come out for a few hours on a bike.

I have found a bike and would love to come out with someone tomorrow who knows the area a bit better.
I was thinking about Sweetwater.
I would go for an early start. Around 8 in Rancho San Diego.

There were moments when I confused the beat of my own drum with that of the group so I followed the sound of each. Nonetheless, another fun ride with a good crew, and enjoyable frosties afterward.

Thanks everyone for a great ride today. Sorry for not aligning with your intent on climbing that damned volcano Shannon.
It appears the trend of saturday morning crashes for one of us has been broken...thank goodness too because it starting to affect any rider near him. Although he may have passed his bad juju onto another rider or two, sheesh!
