We are announcing our fall edition of the Julian Death March.
Slated for Saturday October 25th, 2014.
We have changed the ride distances to 50 and 72 miles, based upon rider feedback. We are eliminating Rodriquez and Oriflame Canyons from the mix. I know everyone is going to be crushed with this decision!
This will give more riders the opportunity to ride the Santa Ysabel open space preserve.
So pick your poison 50 or 72 miles with either 6500 or 9500 feet of climbing.
We are offering an early bird discount for those that register this month (July). Only $79!
For registration go to webscorer at: http://www.webscorer.com/register?raceid=24980
For event info go to our main web page at: http://www.julianactive.com/Julian7500.htm

We plan on offering a 22 mile fun ride the day of the race. It will be the last part of the 72 mile ride and will start later so the fun riders can ride along with the racers. This section takes in the beautiful Santa Ysabel Open Space preserve. Registration for the fun ride will be up soon.

If you have ever thought about doing the Julian Death March, now is the time! 2014 will be our final year for the Julian Death March.
We would like to thank all of those who have participated in this epic event the last 20 plus years and particularly to our fine volunteers who have made this event possible.

Why is this the last year? I was just looking at it thinking maybe next year, but I just saw your post about it being the last year.

Well lots of reasons but I won't bore you with the details.
50 Mile ride is doable. My wife did it last time and she is 58 and a type one diabetic, so you have absolutely no excuses! Ha!

We are just a little over 2 weeks out. Celebrate R&B Bicycle Club's final Death March event. This should be a lot of fun and with our course change, more riders than ever will be able to take in the final loop in the beautiful Santa Ysable Open Space Preserve.
