Our second day on the North Umpqua River Trail began at the Marsters trailhead and we would cover the Marsters, Calf, Panther and Mott segments. A full description of the 79 mile trail can be found here. There were some excellent views of the river 18 mile ride, many times riding right next to or above the water. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.... |

I've driven through there but have never ridden a bike -- can't imagine how gorgeous that must have been. Thanks for sharing. |

Very nice and refreshing TR! Keep the pictures coming moondogg. I miss the cold and rainy climate after this hot summer we had here...

ocd wrote: Pull any fish out of that river?????? I had a fly rod with me, but I'm still learning. Two guys with waders and all spent an afternoon working the river for steelhead with no luck. Saw some really big salmon hanging out at their spawning beds. |

I had been thinking the same thing after numerous rides ending in 100F. But after getting poured on yesterday in flagstaff I'm not so sure about that Sweet pics Matt, thanks for sharing! |
