Veterans Memorial Park
Bike Skills/Pump Track Focus Group
Planning is underway for the City of Carlsbad's newest park, Veterans Memorial Park. So far, community members have shared what they would like to experience when they come to Veterans Memorial Park and provided input on draft park concepts.

The city would like to gather additional input from community members on the planned family oriented bike skills/pump track park element. The city is looking for individuals between the ages of 10 and 100 that have an interest in this type of amenity to take part in this discussion.

Bike Skills/Pump Track Focus Group Meeting
Thursday, March 5
6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

If you are interested in participating in the bike skills/pump track focus group, please complete this online form by Feb. 23, 2020. The focus group will take place at one of Carlsbad's Parks and Recreation facilities. A diverse group of 10-15 community members will be selected to participate in this meeting. If you are selected to participate, you will be notified by Feb. 26 and provided with additional information.

Next Steps
The project team will use the input gathered from the focus group, past public workshops and past online surveys to further develop the concept plan for the family oriented bike skills/pump track element of the park master plan. The final Veterans Memorial Park concept and master plan will be presented to the City Council in fall 2020.
