I wanted to make everyone aware of other bike access efforts in North County that you should try to attend.
First is Carlsbad is having a Parks Dept master plan update. This is not specifically bikes, but all Parks and Rec facilities in Carlsbad, which includes numerous trails and other parks (think Veterans Memorial where Bike Park has been discussed)
There are two meetings, please try to attend and voice reasonable opinions.
Second up is a Bike park in San Marcos, this project is basically a done deal, but they are trying to determine what the park should consist of. This meeting is only to discuss the park and not any other trail access. Please attend and provide input as to what you would like to see at this Bike Park.
