Thanks to the eight that made it out on short notice. 50 more yards of some fairly heavy benching done. Nice work.   A nasty runoff ditch problems solved with a rock drain...  The results...  The strike crew and arsenal.   Next trail day Jan 2, Black Mountain Trail Work Day |

Awesome work! That trail will be an outstanding, badly needed, improvement. Not that I can't enjoy pushing my bike up steep eroded fire roads from time to time, but this will be so much better. Thanks to all trail workers. |

Black Mountain Trail Day, January 9 I cannot stress this enough. WE NEED HELP!!! There is a plethora of trail to go and at the rate we are moving it will not happen this season. There is so much to do and if we only have 20 people come out (thank you to all who came) it will be some time before you can use it. Black Mountain Trail Day, January 9 With close to 2" of rain forecasted this week, Saturday, January 9 should be an epic build day. There are some berms that need reinforcement/completing, water bars *cough, kickers* than need to be completed, and miles of trail still to be cut. At this point, Saturday is supposed to be dry. Black Mountain Trail Day, January 9 Please, please post and let me know you are coming. It will make all the difference in the end. I realize a lot of you have obligations on Saturdays and I understand. For those who don't, don't miss out on this chance. And, just in case you missed it... Black Mountain Trail Day, January 9 You don't need to create an account, just IM me or post it here that you can attend. Worse case scenario is we cancel due to extended rain. This event is a "GO" unless you hear otherwise from me, here. Hopefully you can make it out. |

My family and the mutts walked it all this morning. Really liked what we built so far but there is so much more to go. Directly ahead of where we ended should go pretty quickly too  It's great to see some new bloods joining the trail crew each time we meet along with the dedication of the "same 'ol guys" that normally show up. The next weekend build day should be exciting given the rain we should be having the coming week. If we get the amount of rain predicted you probably shouldn't be riding on them anyway. Come on out and give a little back to the trails  Pay it forward so you can bomb down 'em later
