Last week I came upon a spot on this hiking trail where someone decided to break the erosion control in a way that would push water down the middle of the trail and create a rut. I put the erosion control back in place to keep the water flowing off the trail into the Sage. I came back a week later and someone had once again vandalized the trail in what now looks to be an attempt to purposely create erosion and ruin the trail for other hikers. If you know who is doing this please ask them to stop breaking the law and leave the erosion control in place. CDFW does patrol this area and there are huge fines for creating Erosion problems on the trails. You can see the before and after in these photos.

I rode by this section of trail yesterday and it looks like someone shored up my work because after we got that huge storm last week it looks amazing.

There is even some Sage growing up out of the dirt!!!
