I forgot to post this today but I think most of you already knew....

Good morning,
We received a fair amount of rain this morning and looking at the clouds heading our way, as well as the National Weather Service radar, we are going to get more. Let’s stay off all the trails today and maybe tomorrow to give them a chance to settle after so much dryness. Have a very pleasant weekend. :-)

Gonna go out on a limb here. NBC San Diego forcasts 100% chance of rain Friday. Get your trail riding in tonight or early tomorrow. It is supposed to start Thursday night.

I will post the obligitory letter from Gina when it is generated.

Silver lining - we get rain. Every bit counts.

Told you I would but I got side tracked. Like you didn't already know but there is some other news to pass along...

Good morning.

The trails are closed, we have already received ½” of rain here in the canyon, and it looks like it will continue for a little longer.

Good news, the south main trail restoration project is complete. All the ruts and big rocks have been covered. This trail should be in good shape for years to come and it will be much easier to maintain. We owe a lot of thanks to SDG&E (and their contractor) for providing the labor and doing such a fantastic job. The trail just looks amazing and rides really nicely. We shouldn’t have any more problems with parallel volunteer trails in this area.

The County has a portion of the single track trail on the south side closed. There is some serious safety work going on, so it is most important to observe that closure.

We will be doing some repairs on Wagon Wheel Crossing this coming week, so please be prepared for some obstacles there.

Another weekend of no LPCP trails, sad I know, but we really appreciate every one’s cooperation, it is really making a difference on the quality of our trails.
