Well there was the can with the pull tab. Doesn't it count as ancient?

Just getting back online here and in the saddle after a hiatus.

Any plans on the work needed for this trail soon or is it already done?

Thanks for the hard work, would love to join up to make this reality if it is not complete already.

The trail is not started or complete yet. There are a few components like where the bridge builder was kind enough to scrape in a switch back under the Carmel Valley Rd bridge.

We were thrilled with the rain last weekend and wanted to do some digging this past one. Mother Nature decided to turn on the furnace in the time between and bake the soil. Since it is a lot of loose adobe, it won't hold anything until it is damp. Once we get rain and organized a field day, I will post here. There are a few different people chomping at the bit and wanting to get started.

TRAIL WORK DAY COMING!!!!

Ranger Ed has already started to cut the top part of Lilac and working down to the Caramel Valley Bridge.

We are working on a kick off trail build day. As soon as I have the date, it will be posted. Sorry for taking soooooooooooooo long to get to this point but between nesting season, environmental regs, and (until recently) dry weather it was just a waiting game.

Please PM me if you are interested. Typically it will be on a Saturday or Sunday. Don't have any details but if you let me know, it goes a long way towards planning a successful day. With enough people, we might be able to knock out a few different sections.
