Speaking strictly for myself and based on personal experience, I don't think it will make any difference and will just turn into a huge shitstorm. You are dealing with the holier than thous. Even if they let you do the survey, they won't like the feedback and the bubble will turn into a Berlin wall. So, why waste your time and energy? You are not Gorbachev. They are not going to change. I tried to push the envelope with them when they ignored Calavera and it was tiring and a huge waste of my time. Just go ride with your friends and be happy! :thumbsup:

I think SDMBA polls should keep to the SDMBA website, but if you want my answer, in its present form SDMBA can FOAD.

The only good thing to come out of SDMBA is the discount at Cal Coast, and I'd rather not get the discount than join.

this stupid survey post has been (re)posted like 3 or 4 times now both here and on the other site - i assume by duplicate accounts of the original guy who thought it up. Pretty sure the final answer was "if you want to propose a survey thats cool, show up to the meeting and present your position" - thought the discussion ended there... The posts here about it were pretty enteratining IIRC

More pressing (time-wise) question: Can I use a 10 spd rear der with my current 9 spd drivetrain? Shimano Zee shadow plus deraileurs just came in stock and I want one before they're gone. HELP!

I don't hate SDMBA, and I'm willing to donate and get involved, but as KIMBA pointed out, the "holier than thou" attitude I don't like. Gravity Pirates, SDMBA, same attitude, it's like an exclusive club. You have to be a "Member", and the only way to become a "Member" is to bend over and take it up the ass.

That's what we have to love about DT, nobody gives a fuck about you! You want to ride, great! You don't want to ride, fuck you then! :mrgreen:

I have met soooo many cool people here on DT that want to share mountain biking with the world, I have no need for an exclusive club.

When SDMBA, SDMBA PRO (Gravity pirates) decide that it's better to share mountain biking with the world rather than make it exclusive, then I'll put my support behind them.

Now I have to go jack-off to some mountain biking videos on pinkbike. Peace!

Well maybe at sdmba's website its from a duplicate account, but each time its brought up here its by different forum users, which I suspect is the reality thats its individual users posting on sdmba's site.

So I was trying to help ozzer with his question but was sidetracked by this picture. Do you think he made that bra with two different cups on it, or did it come like that? I mean last time I made a bra I atleast did complimenting colors.
