HI, WE WOULD LIKE TO SPEND OUR HONEYMOON IN THE FIRST HALF OF DECEMBER AND WOULD LIKE TO GO TO SAN DIEGO. ARE THERE ENOUGH TRAILS TO RIDE THAT ARE CLOSE TO THE OCEAN? WHAT OTHER MTB POSSIBILITES DO WE HAVE DOWN THERE? WE ARE LIVING AT LAKE TAHOE AND LOVE MOUNTAINBIKING! CAN YOU SUGGEST SPECIAL BOOKS AND MAPS? THANKS FOR HELPING US! KATIE |

First of all, Congratulations! Carlsbad (La Costa) this the best seaside riding you will find in San Diego. It is about 3 miles inland with about 15 miles of trails. Another option is a little further north on the south side of San Clemente known as the San Clemente Single Tracks. Mountain Bike Billl Still the greatest San Diego and So Cal reference site out there. |
