Did an overniter out to A-B. Camped near a spring hoping to photograph some wildlife.

Came up with this...

Did a little hike near box canyon.

Interesting geology and plenty of blooming ocotillo, barrel cactus and dudleya.

^^^ That all-seeing eye and the dudleyas are great.

The ocotillos were blanketing that whole Mason Valley beautifully, just below Box Canyon. But the blooms farther south were nearly gone. I got up a couple of mornings to watch the sunrise, and at 5AM Sunday I happened to catch the planetary alignment with my phone. L to R, Jupiter, Venus, Mars & Saturn. I think several days earlier one could have seen the moon lined up with them too.
