Would be good but from what I know/heard about Cowles, foot traffic on the weekend is a lot so you might not enjoy the decent as much since you're pretty much on a watch for hikers. Its a fun ride though :D

We go there on weekends too but we start at around 6:30am to avoid traffic.

I've ridden there a couple of times around 8:00am on the weekends and it's not SUPER bad if you use a bell, but there are definitely a bunch of people around.
