Would be good but from what I know/heard about Cowles, foot traffic on the weekend is a lot so you might not enjoy the decent as much since you're pretty much on a watch for hikers. Its a fun ride though :D

We go there on weekends too but we start at around 6:30am to avoid traffic.

I'm willing to wake up that early to ride, let me know the next time you guys go out there on a weekend

I'm bummed I missed it... but it was probably for the best since I noticed my frame was cracked last night!

Yeah that could've been ugly. Cowles would have broken it the rest of the way for sure... could have hurt, a lot.

You can use my Nomad (medium) for next week's ride Chip.

That's an awesome offer dude, thanks. I've been wanting to try out a Nomad for a while. Might be a little small for me though.

smaller frame for descending is ok. I am afraid that you might like it.

I'm going to try and join in on the fun next Wednesday too. I've never been down Big Rock, and I've been wanting to check it out but wanted a guide.

Weather permitting, I'll be at Big Rock tomorrow with the Glory.

it was raining this morning so I did not bring my bike. Planning on going up there either tomorrow or Friday at 6pm. trail should be tacky after all the rains that we had the past two days.
