Here's my kid at Vail Lake last year. I edited the video because I was so laughing so hard in the end.

Any recommendation on where to get a lighter BMX and FF helmet for kids? He wants to try riding at Kearny Mesa BMX track.

I took my kid to Bike Bling to get a full face. Lots of selection in-stock, and some models that won't break the bank. Sizes vary between makes, so definitely one of those things to try on in the store.

I bought my son's bmx bike used and found it in some online classifieds from OC. If you go to the track on Sundays, there tends to be two or more bikes for sale there lately, especially for 5 to 6 years olds as other kids are growing out of them.
