today jSatch and myself took the boys out to do a some trail work.....we loaded up the bikes + shovels, and headed out under beautiful conditions. the dirt was just ripe to dig in and suprisingly enough, not a puddle or soft spot was to be found. after rebuilding one gap jump and armoring up the 'learning' drop, we got to reap the benefits of our trail work.

there is truly nothing better than hanging out with a dear freind and watching the boys ride their damn bikes we spent soooo much money on.

a good day,

a damn good day.

well said, nothing better than sharing it with a good friend and having our kids enjoying and sharing in our passion for this sport. having them pick up shovels to help out and begin to understand the interplay between mtn biking and nature was all icing.

today was my best xmas present.

(missed canaan, and hoping rhs and son can get together soon)

Where is this? Your backyard? Being newish, I would love some training runs myself. Anyways looks like a blast, plus anytime you can get to be with the kids it's double the fun.

Great job tidying up that spot! Very entertaining video. How are the jump lines towards the bottom after the rain?

the place seems impervious to rain. soil was perfect to work with but not a puddle anywhere.

if jump line towards the bottom you meant the DJ area, we were strictly hands off that area. spoke with the bmx guys there (and borrowed their shovels). told 'em we weren't making any lines into their jumps. don't want to provoke an ATT/WC situation to develop.

lol. i'm certain that after a certain age they grow in reverse. you're welcome to join in. i'm learning along with them too. hoping to at least slow down the reversal process. :)
