This is sort of a video trip report, though not by me, and nothing to do with bikes.

I have ridden down this trail though. It drops out of the Valley of the Moon near Jacumba. Cool seeing one of our local areas represented.

That's one of about 5 YT'ers I follow and saw that video. Sad that he had to have 2 border patrols watching over his truck and trailer while he was getting the SUV

I think he was just joking about the BP guarding his rig. I've been out there a bunch of times. Those agents don't sit still for very long. But if they hang out anywhere it's where Matt parked or bottom of the main access road to Valley of the Moon. Once you go up into the hills the wall becomes a decrepit barbed wire fence that is easily crossed, so people coming try to cross through the hills and get down to old hwy 80.

Getting in isn't a problem at all which is been that way for a while now.
It's getting the truck ripped or stripped is what I was thinking
