On Sunday a rider was seriously injured on Nobel canyon. He injuries were serious enough that he had to be transferred from a medic unit to over to mercy air.

First of all I want to give big healing vibes for this rider and I hope he hits the trails soon.

Now here is the warning part of the message. He was injured on one of the road crossing on upper noble. As he was crossing the road a truck was driving by and he impacted the vehicle. Yeah it's kind of a freak accident, but just take a little more care when your bombing down noble and crossing the road.

At Nobel, I came inches from hitting another cyclist coming down the pavement once with myself blowing right through the crossing. I was looking at the cliff I would have rolled down had we hit and was pretty freaked out by that so my best wishes to to ********. Get well soon!

Two guesses:

1) He doesn't know it; or
2) He learned this person's name through his work and is respecting the person's right of privacy (HIPAA).
