As the day started, the plan was to go through a box of shells and clay pigeons with Mbfish, plans changed, didn't happen. I had a feeling that this being the first weekend of football, there's a good chance I'm going to spend the afternoon eating and drinking more than I should, I'll get a road ride in early to try and even out the calorie count. 15 miles into a 40+ mile ride, spoke snaps and the front tire turns into a potato chip.....so much for that ride. My wounder full girlfriend picked me up and we decided that she would grab lunch, and I would would grab beers. So I jumped on the dirt jumper and headed to the liquor store. On the way, I couldn't help myself and hit a monster double.....aka a three foot planter between two driveways. I came down and as it turns out, sandals are not the best choice of footwear for an urban ride, foot slips off and my pedal reeks havoc on my shin. So after lunch and a few beers it's off to the ER. 15 stitches and Humpty Dumpty is back together again.........lame

It felt real good to pull the fences down for Labor day weekend, thanks for showing me around your neighborhood while I was down there, if I'm down there on a Wednesday, I'll try to join the weekly ride

Damn that sucks! Must have been pretty gnarly to need to go to the ER. I'd have to see some bone before I did that.
